Magdalen is a performer, creator and instructor who prioritizes professional integrity. She delivers transformative, embodied performances and lives bravely in a tall, strong female body that is striking on stage and screen. She crosses creative finish lines internationally as an actor, producer, managing director, writer, teacher, deviser and most recently, is working as a speech and english dialect coach with actors around the world. With a keen eye for cultural studies, Maggie is a research-hungry practitioner who can deliver analytical instruction in acting and accents, while helping actors transform themselves into someone more vulnerable and boundlessly confident.
Maggie has a passion for science based and science fiction stories, or ‘new-world’ imaginations that push our ideas of good-society, and both writes and performs in this genre as often as she can. Her other storied passions include mental health, addiction, recovery and the Spanish language.
Magdalen was born in Houston, TX and lived in Chicago, IL for 8 years as a student and artist. She recently (Jan 2022) returned to Houston after completing an MFA acting in Glasgow Scotland, and will be splitting time between Houston, Austin and Chicago for the forseeable future.
