2018: A year of training, touring, Sailor Jupiter and relocating to Houston
Fall 2017 and Winter/Spring 2018 was a time of growth/decomposition and few new acting projects. Here is the year or so in summary:
My own work, writing and auditioning
A brief rehearsal process for a project that fell through, and producing the 2nd Doing Drugs and Dying in Space Ritual
Participating in my first LARP with moonrise larp games
A quick tour to Notre Dame with Dead Youth in the early fall
An on camera class in fall with Acting Studio Chicago
Finishing Sailor Moon musical parody in February 2018
A film production featured in Jenny Mangus’ Summer piece with Curious Theatre Branch
Appearance as background talent in upcoming Showtime pilot Work In Progress
Directing Meisner with Monica Payne class where I participated as an actor in Summer 2018
After a challenging year struggling to pay the bills and realizing pressing mental health issues, I made the decision to move back to Houston in August 2018. There, my acting career would be my main focus. This was a huge leap after years living in and loving Chicago, but it had to be done in order to move forward.
During Summer 2018 and 2018/2019, I would also take on a weight loss project that would help me move closer to my goals of increasing my on camera projects. My whole body and mind were in store for rejuvenation! By Fall 2018 I would lose 20 lbs.
