This process and project was a true blessing. Amidst the imminent amazingness of Season 8 Game of Thrones dropping, HBO decided to create an immersive blood drive with the Red Cross in the hopes of dominating the SXSW immersive marketing landscape. After a beautifully secretive audition process, and polishing up on my York accent, I was cast as the wildling warrior woman Lyra. I was given an indepth character background, specific memories and dialect coaching in order to firm up my character. The rehearsal process was guerrilla quick and effective, and then we were in a village on site at the blood drive for three days. This was one of my first travelling gigs and I was thrilled to be among seasoned immersive actors, navigating the background of a project like this.

I had a blast on set every day and really enjoyed this project. I left with a feeling of accomplishment, professional excitement and an immense lightness from having made something great, quickly.
